How do i transfer Office 2003 from my old pc to a new pc?

I am replacing my pc on which I run Office 2003. How do I transfer the
software to my new pc without running into activation problems?

You will not have activation problems if you uninstall Office on the first computer
and use the phone number on the activation screen and explain your situation.

I'm in the same situation. I brought a new computer and when I went to
install the 2003 version, I discovered I lost the key number. Will this site
help me with the key? The office application is registered.

Magic Jelly Bean or Belarc Adviser will reveal the key on the old PC.
If however you uninstalled 2003 from the old PC try here

I'm assuming you meant the key required to install office, that would
normally be afixed to an Orange sticker on the Office cd case.

What if the old PC doesn't work so you can't uninstall the software from that
PC (for example my dead laptop). How do I install Office 2003 Pro on my new
laptop? I have the discs and the product key but it is already activated on
the old PC.

Doesnt matter, if the old PC is dead, install on new PC and use phone
activation if neccesary.
This assumes the Office cd you have is a retail edition & not OEM

To Whom It May Concern:

I have the registered (legal) installation of Microsoft Office installed in
my previous laptop (which I'll give away when I am done transfering all my
documents to my new laptop),

Unlike the other situations, I do have the case in which it has the Product
Key, but I can't find the CD. Is it possible that I can download the
software online and input the product key? I can also scan the case to show
it is genuine or log into my previous laptop if you need to confirm that I
have the genuine version on my other pc.

No you cannot obtain the software on line.
If you have proof of purchase, ie a receipt for a retail version of Office
you may be able to get replacement media, depending on version.

Otherwise you need to find someone with the exact same version, install from
their cd using your key
