How do I turn off the free slack display on the gantt chart? I inhertied this MS Project file from a client, and I can't figure out how to turn off the free slack line displayed in the calendar. Please help!

Thanks,

Greg,
There are various ways the Gantt graphic can be set up to include Free
Slack. Some of the built in views (e.g. Detail Gantt Chart) show it or
it could have been set up the the former user in a custom view. First
try the following:
1. Go to View/More views
2. If a view other than "Gantt Chart" is highlighted, change the view to
"Gantt Chart" and hit "ok".

If that doesn't fix it directly it probably means the previous owner
customized the standard Gantt Chart view.
3. Go to Format/Barstyles
4. In the upper portion of the Bar Styles window look in the "To" column
(column at the far right)
5. Scroll down until you see an entry in the "To" column that says,
"Free Slack"
6. Select that row and hit the "Cut Row" button
7. Hit "ok"

Hope this helps.
John
