how do i update office when i have lost the cd?

is there any way to do this? Would i have the license key in the computer
somewhere that would enable me to update office. I installed it about 2 years
ago and i cannot find the cd now.

yeah i read that but its for the u.s only-im in the u.k so would that be a

This is a 2 parter. First, you should get your Product Key off your PC.
There are several proggys that will do this depending on your version.
KeyFinder, free from www.magicaljellybean.com is one; Belarc Advisor is
another, also free for personal use. You can Google for more of them if
needed. Second, any CD of the exact same version of Office will work. There
is nothing on any MS CD that ties it to a specific PK. Sooo...you will need
to find a friend that has the same version and get him to burn a copy for
you. Remember, Std. CD won't work with Pro PK, OEM won't work with Retail,
Upgrade won't work with Full Version, and so on and so on.
