how do I update trial version to office 2003 educational

I have a 60 day version of office 2003 which has recently become greyed out.
(I assume because I have started it more than 50 times) The activate product
also doesn't work. I've purchased the teacher edition and even uninstalled
the trail and then reinstalled office (sveral Times) but whenever it has
installed all the functionality is still greyed out. How do I get it to work?

What do you mean by "the activate product also doesn't work"? What happens
when you try it?
