How do u setup a Form field to require an answer b4 a user submits

When creating a new Form, how do I set it up so that the user is required to
fill in certain fields on a Form? I want it setup so that after they press
the submit button, it will kick it back and tell them that they don't have
all of the required fields on the form filled in?
