How do uninstall office project professional 2007

A month ago I installed project 2007 on my laptop and now it will not launch.
When I launch it states that it has not been installed and needs to be
installed. When I try and reinstall it it states that it has encountered an
error. I would like to know how I can uninstall this. I can not install or
uninstall.

I think a call to Microsoft is required. Diagnosing failed installations is
difficult on a newgroup!
