How do you block HTML emails with a rule?

I've tried creating rules that will delete emails with
<HTML> in the body of the message, but this does not
appear to work.

Has anyone else figured out how to do this?

Rules do not run reliably on HTML mail.

Note: it helps to provide your version so we know what you are talking
about. Rules vary from version to version, with the latest being the best
yet, but still some problems.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

I have OL2002, but from your initial reply I take it that
this is unlikely to work?
