How do you download/install the Office Update SP 3 from a CD?

Office update says I need Office XP professional Service Pack 3. I ordered
and received the CD for it, but it won't install. It is listed in the
Microsoft Office program, but when I go to Office updates, it says I need to
download SP3. So what's going on here? Thanks for any help.

What files did you try running on the cd? You have to run the update on the
cd and then Office Update shouldn't detect it as needed anymore.
