How do you explain time off to take care off parents

K

KOALABEAR

I HAVE BEEN OFF WORK FOR TWO YEARS TAKING CARE OF MY PARENTS AND ALL THEIR
SSI AND ESTATE MATTERS. I LEFT MY JOB TO DO THIS BUT I AM READY TO RETURN TO
WORK HOW WOULD I POST THIS ON A RESUME.
THANK YOU FOR ANY SUGGESTING YOU MIGHT HAVE.

You wouldn't put that in a resume. If you are granted and interview, if
*asked* about the missing years you may explain it...otherwise let it go.

As an ex-employer, if someone had an unexplained two-year gap in their CV I
wouldn't give them an interview in the first place unless they were so
head-and-shoulders above all the other applicants....

And that's why the OP needs to visit a job hunting site to get suggestions
on how to account for the missing time. Some employers will interview and
may ask, others won't bother calling them in at all.
