How do you get rid of email addresses in Outlook that pop up

When I need to change someone's email address because it has changed or was
wrong - the email "remember" feature keeps "remembering" long after I have
gone to the contact and changed it. How can I delete email address
"suggestions".

Use the up/down arrow keys to select the address, then press Delete.
