How do you switch between programs and files in Microsoft Office?

The same way you do with any program - open them, click on the task bar to
switch programs, etc.

Alt+Tab and Alt+W then (Alt+number)

Hi Smoke,

Can you provide any additional details? (what apps, what versions
of Office?) If the Tools=>Option=>General choice for
[x] Windows in Taskbar
is selected then Alt+Tab will switch between apps and docs.
