How many licenses do I have left?

I have the "academic" version of Office Profession 2007 and have so far only
installed it on my home computer. In the process, I had to uninstall, then
reinstall Office due to application issues. This may be a lame question, but:

Does this count as one or two license uses, since I technically installed
Office twice? But on the same computer? Thanks to anyone who can help!

You have one academic license for the Office 2007 Professional software.
The End User License Agreement {EULA} specifies on how many devices your
software license allows you to install the software.

When you reinstall the Office 2007 software are the same computer {device],
you are using the same license to install the software on that computer as
you used originally not another license.

One licence is used per computer. You can keep reinstalling on the same
PC as many times as you want.
