How MSP Calculates Physical% values in Summary Bars

Hi,

Could anybody detail me how MSP calculates the Physical% complete values in
summary bars. I have got a huge programme & I have done all the things to get
the Physical% complete but somehow the values calculated by MSP are
inconsistent.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Hello,
Physical % Complete doesn't sumup at the summary task level. The only aim of
Physical % Complete is to bias the calculation of the Earned Value:
Tools / Options / Calculation
Click the Earned Value button : you can choose Physical % Complete instead
of % Complete

Thanks for your reply Gerard,

I got your point now. After scruitnizing I was able to find how MSP
calculates this.

I had to report to my employer with Physical % complete & sometimes these
values are misleading if you have fully resourced/costed programme.
