How to add filters/converters to Office/Excel 2003?

Don't explore the CD. Click on Start | Control Panel | Add or
Remove Programs | Microsoft Office 2003 | Change | Add or Remove
Features | Next. Click on the + to the left of Microsoft Office
to expand the category. Click on the + to the left of Office
Shared Features. Click on the + to the left of Converters and
Filters. Click on the little downward-pointing black triangle to
the left of Graphics Filters, and click on "Run all from my
computer". Click on Update.

Wow, that worked great -- I think I have the filters installed now.
Although I don't see them in the reigistry, I am able to save a range
to a GIF file. My excel macro still crashes on the save part, but I'll
investigate that further as I hadn't used that macro since Office XP.
