how to add text to pictures

I want to add my company name to pictures of my product to post on ebay. How
can I do this? I can get the pics and text the way I want them to look by
using PowerPoint, but is there a way to get these pics to ebay listings?

As far as the posting to Ebay, you will need to refer to their instructions,
however...

.... you can save the picture with text as a JPG image by using PowerPoint's
SaveAs function. Simply click on File => Save As... => change the type
(pulldown list under the file name) to JPG => select your directory that you
want to save it in => Press Save.

Leda To get pic & text as jpeg for ebay.
Insert pic, place text box with text on pic (i guess youve done this already)

ctrl click and select both pic and text >cut >"paste special" as jpeg

right click the new picure and save as picture

Note this will not work in 2000 or earlier
