How to adjust zoom level on hyperlinked gifs.

I have included a hyperlink in my word document. The link is to a .gif image.
When I "control click" on the link (i.e. activate the link), the gif is
displayed in a browser. However, the contrast of the gif picture is not good.
It doesn't display well. In particular the text is blurred. If I zoom out one
level, the contrast improves considerably.

So on activating the link, I would like to have the gif displayed to the
ideal zoom level by default, i.e. without the reader having to search for the
optimum zoom level.

Anyone knowing how I do that?

The hyperlink in your Word doc is nothing more than a "trigger" that causes
the target file to be opened by its associated application. Word - or, for
that matter, most any program creating the file that contains the hyperlink
- has no control over the how the target file or the host application
functions.

It sounds like it is something that could be handled by redesigning the .gif
in a decent web graphics editor to better control how it displays when
opened in a browser.
