how to backup outlook rules

i have a lot of formating rules. how do i back them up? i
need to move them to a new computer.tia.

What version of outlook are you running?

In outlook 2003 you can go to tools / Rules Wizard / There is an options
button and then there is an export button to export your rules.

If you're talking about Automatic Formatting rules, they should be saved
with the .PST file since they are part of the folder views. Just re-use the
..PST file on the new computer and you'll retain the most data and settings
possible.
