How to change "normal" HTML email font in Outlooks2002 (to use a fixed width font e.g. Courier New)

Hi

How do I change the default "normal" fonts used by MS Outlook2002 in
HTML emails?

I want the "normal" style to now be Courier new rather
than Arial (mainly because I want a fixed width font!)

But I've tried everything that I can think of and
cant find it anywhere!

With thanks

First, don't use Word as your email editor. In Outlook, go to Tools, Options,
Mail Format, Font button. Set your preferences there.

No sorry that doesnt work!

I've set all the font in the place you describe to Courier New but it
doesnt work.
MS Outlook is SERIOUSLY irritating in HTML because it keeps doing
unpredictable
changes to the fonts. One false move - a carriage return for example -
and everything
goes haywire.

Yes you CAN force your message to be all the same font/colour/size etc
but it's damned irritating!
