how to change single space to double space between words

Using WindowsXP, Word 2003. In an older version, I could choose the option to
change a single space after a period between sentences to double space. I
cannot find that option in the Word 2003 version. Is it still possible?

Tools=>Options=>/Spelling & Grammar\=>[Settings]
for 'Spaces required between sentences'
