how to create hyperlink to a file independantly its path

i make a hyperlink to a file but when i published it to the web ... it saves
a full path on my hard disk ... so it doesnt work on the server online ...
what can i do?

Assem,

One option you have is to push the file up to your webserver and then use
Publisher to change the hyperlink to point at the Server copy of your file
instead of the local copy of your file. This should fix it. (ie instead of
C:\file, http:\\file)
