how to delete a messege in the outbox?

hi everyone, i have a message in my outbox that seems to
be interfering with recieving other emails. i have tried
to delete it, but get the message that the email is
spooling by MAPI, and i can not delete it, is there a way
to stop it spooling or kill the email all together?

Close Outlook,
Disconnet from the internet/LAN.
OPen Outlook, you should get an error connecting to the servers.
Now delete the email in the Outbox.
Reconnect to the internet, reboot the computer.
