How to disable the ENTER key in a Powerpoint presentation?

I want to disable the ENTER key when someone is running a presentation, or
have the ENTER key simulate a left mouse click. I have a single slide setup
as a "dashboard" with action keys linked to other slides. I have a giant,
transparent, action button on the hidden slides that go back to the dashboard
slide. It all works well if someone uses the mouse, but if they press ENTER,
it cycles through the hidden slides (only if you are already on a hidden
slide, though).

If you go to Slide Show > Set Up Show and set it to Kiosk, only navigation links
that you provide will be used. The only keyboard key that will be recognized is
the Escape key. Would that meet your needs?
