How to display "From" field in Outlook 2000?

I have 4 email accounts and I'm forver forgetting to
choose the correct one from the pulldown menu with
the "Send" button before sending an email out.

Is there a way to display the "from" field line in each
new email I write? I used to use this view option in OE
and it worked great. Can't find any similar options
anywhere in Outlook 2000?

Thanks, Emily

The From field does not control your sending account. That's what the Send
button is for.

Not for Internet Mail. Outlook and OE are completely different programs.

Not sure in Outlook 2000 (haven't used it for a while).

In Outlook 2002 when you open a new email or hit reply in the email window
click View>From Field.

This doesn't do what you want though - what you need to do is to hit the
"Accounts" button next to "Send" and then select the account that will be
used for sending this message. If you use the default account nothing shows
but for other accounts it shows an information message above the To/Subject
fields that says "This messgae will be sent via ...."

Outlook 2002 is not significantly different to Outlook 2000 but I can
remember if this was exactly the same.
