How to e-mail a letter to 4000 people

Hi,

I am trying to e-mail a letter to 4,000 people using word 2000. I don't have all these people e-mail's in the address book, and it will be impossible to add them one by one. I wonder if there is a way to upload all the e-mails into the address book automatically, may be as a group, so I would be able to select them all at the same time when e-mailing.

BTW, How many people can I e-email simultaneously?

Sounds like spam to me.

Use an email program, not Word for heavy-duty email.
