how to enable Macros in word 2000

I have windows XP Home , Word Office 2000 pro, and outlook 2003 (which I
think makes my computer think I've got Office 2003). My problem is, when I
try to run a Macro in Word 2000, I get a message that macros have been
disabled, go to online help to find out how to enable them. That has
proven to be a dead end for me.

I've reduced Security to the lowest level - that didn't work

Then try this one. Also make sure that Outlook isn't trying to use Word
for editing.
