how to export Outlook 2000 contacts to excel

I would like to have a step by step procedure on how to
export and import some of my contact folders to Excel.

Highlight the Contact folder > from the File Menu select Import/Export >
Export to file > to type Excel > your Contact folder should be highlighted >
give it a name and location > map custom fields (not usually required) >
Finish
