I am migrating some MSP98 to 2007, and have found some interesting legacy
data from MSP98 baselines
In trying to migrate the data, I am trying to establish what fields and data
is in use, and more importantly what data is NOT in use
So my question is really in two parts:
1) is is possible to tell (either by functionality, vba, or an addon) what
fields are in use in a project plan including standard fields and custom
fields?
2) is it possible to work out what old or legacy data might be hiding in the
mpp file, and if so is it possible to clear it out or delete it. FYI: I
have found a section in an xml output that says "Used for Microsoft Project
98 Baseline Cale1." One example I have can create an xml file over 1gb in
size if you do save as XML!
hope someone can shed some light on this.
