How to fix error 'operation aborted' in IE 6.0?

Noticed after installing sevice pack 2 for XP that on viewing details on a
web page, I'd get 'operation aborted' message because IE 6.0 couldn't load
the website. This is happening on Amazon when looking at book details. My
other non-XP system doesn't have this issue. How do I fix this?

Hi, Andrea. Your post is off-topic in this Microsoft Office newsgroup
because neither Windows XP nor Internet Explorer are part of the Office
applications suite. Nonetheless, see if this article applies to your
