How to force a hyperlink that points to a template opens a new do.

Using MsWord I have created an HTML file that contains hyperlinks to Word
documents, Excel workbooks, Word templates and Excel templates.
The problem is that when i click a hyperlink that points to a template
-either Word or Excel- the template is being opened, rather than opening a
new doucment -or workbook- based on that template.
Any suggestion?

I don't have an answer to your question but I would
suggest you also post this in the Word newsgroup as well
(if you haven't already).
