I have imported some postcode into excel and have different formats
B77 9EQ and ST17 1ED - I need to remove the space between - I have tried TRIM

Hi

Select the column with imported codes, and replace all spaces with nothing
(Edit.Replace window, use ReplaceAll). When spaces aren't replaced, then
likely you have 'hard spaces' there - try to copy some space from some cell
into SearchFor field of Replace window.

Hi Amanda,

Try

=SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","")

where A1 contains the post codes.

Amanda

Use Find and Replace
Find " " (that is a space)
Replace with "" (dont put anything there)
I would suggest working through individually with Next - Replace - Next etc
as you will find that if you "Replace All" you may remove spaces you want
retained.

Cheers
Don
