How to get word wrap as a default for objects?

Thanks... I think my question was a little misleading. What I'm trying to do
is draw an object of a specific fixed size, and then attach a text box to it
by holding the shift key and clicking on the object - the object then has a
built in text box that doesn't alter the size of the originally drawn object.
But the text types without word wrap, and I want word wrap set as a default
for this... is that possible?
