Hello,
There are few word documents whose links I want to give through
my site.I mean when the user clicks on the link he should be able to
download that particular document. So transfer the document from the
server to the required client. How do we provide such links in Frontpage
?

This isn't an answer to your question, but it's a suggestion to consider.

In MS word, under the "Save As" dialog, you can choose to save you document
as an HTML page.

If you choose to do this, in addition to keeping a master copy in doc
format, your question becomes "how do I add a new page to my website?" I
presume you already know how to do this in Fromt Page.

What are the advantages of this suggestion?

First, it simplifies management of your web site. One less format and
interface to keep track of.

More importantly, it allows people who have a browser, but no software for
reading doc files, to view your document. Depending on what you're trying
to do, this could be a positive or a negative.

Think about it.
