How to I properly CLOSE projects in MOPS 2007?

Our fiscal year end is on March 31st 2009. I want to be able to properly
instruct users on how to close and current project plans that end on March
31st 2009.

How do I properly CLOSE a project in MOPS 2007?

Do I:

1) Make REMAINING WORK = 0
2) SET % COMPLETE to 100%

What else should be taken into consideration?

Thanks for the suggestion Ben - I will add it to my list:

Based upon what I know so far I plan on:

1) Set REMAINING WORK time to ZERO (0) for all project tasks - this should
change the % Complete to 100%.
2) Set all resources to PROPOSED instead of COMMITTED.
3) Set PUBLISH field to "NO".
4) Set Project status to "CLOSED"
5) Save the project plan.
6) Publish the project plan.

Am I forgetting or missing anything - Please let me know.

Thanks for your assistance..

Ivor,

I think that your Project Status field is a custom enterprise field, is not
it?
In your check list to close a project, may be could you add "Close task to
update" and select the whole project.
In PWA : Server Settings / Close Tasks to Update
