Set the table and cell widths to % instead of pixels
- but your content will still rule the minimum size

This is OT but I noticed that your response to the question has a date / time earlier than the question. I don't believe I've ever
seen that before.

Hi,

Thanks. I did that.

But I was confused for the following.
What if I have a page with several tables and some of then are using include
files with tables as well.

Do I have to set 100% for tables in the pages displaying results of include
files?

Or do I have to set 100% for each of the include page using tables AND those
pages displaying the results?

Many thanks.

If you are using a liquid layout (that will expand/contract to fit any
browser size) all tables and cell widths should be expressed in %s,
this applies to tables in includes, shared borders (if used) nested
tables - every table.
Any table that has a width expressed in pixels will take on that size
(as a minimum) and may expand any table or page it is in so it will
fit, to the possible detriment of your page layout.

Depends on your design and needs
You can constrain any table / cell(column) w/ a fixed px size as long there is also an appropriate variable width column/table to
take up the slack

Hi,

Appreciate the kind response from Stefan and Ronx.

After some testing, I guess I have to take Ronx's approach. Even if I
missed one cell, the entire page will not adjust with the screen size.

Thanks a lot.
