I have just purchased a computer u/g and it came with Office 2003 basic. I
have licensed copies of Powerpoint, Access and Publisher 2000 that I wish to
use on the new machine. How do I go about installing w/o messing up Office
2003 s/w?

Office 2003 basic? Basic? Do you mean Standard Edition. The
Standard Edition comes with:

Excel 2003
Outlook 2003
PowerPoint 2003
Word 2003

Access and Publisher may be installed without interfering
with the others. I'd retain the PowerPoint 2003. There will
be less collaboration between some of the 2003 and the 2000
versions.

Office Basic is an OEM only version of Office.
