How to prevent following print job from starting?

When selecting legal size paper the printer waits for the stock to be loaded
before printing. When the job is finished and if there is a following job for
letter size the printer continues printing on legal automatically and very
quickly (before one can remove the legal stock). How can this be managed?

Does your printer have more than one tray? If not, I would guess the best solution is
to wait until the first print is finished.
