How to print duplicate copies

Hello, I hope someone can help because I am going crazy trying to print
copies of a flyer I have designed. It is in A4 size by default but I would
like to print off two copies of it on each A4 sheet (thereby making it A5
size). Is there any way I can do this directly to the printer through Word?
The only other way I have found to do it is to copy and paste the entire
document and then try to shrink the size down but this upsets some of the
formatting and seems overly laborious and time consuming. Surely there must
be an easier and quicker way - just like it is possible to print duplicate
photos on the same sheet through the photo printing wizard.
Thanks in advance for saving my sanity!

DaveL, an easy work-around, if I understand what you describe that you have a
Word file with only 1 page (your flyer) in it.
Copy the whole of the one page, paste this into a page two, you may need a
section to help with consolidation of all compenents.
The you can use the "Pages per sheet" option on the Print dialog to print 2
page per sheet.
Obviously if you have a lot of text boxes, frames, etc this may take time.
If you have PDf capability, then this works better, as you can create tow
pages of the page-1 and then print multipages (2).
Hope this helps

Well, there you go, that is the one thing I have learnt today....
I always thought that Pages - 1,1; Pages per sheet - 2 pages didnot work
together.
Thanks Graham.

As I gather you've already seen, it's not necessary to copy it to page 2, as
you can print page 1 twice using "2 pages per sheet."
