How to print only a part of a project.

Iwish to print a part of a project and show just the date range on the gantt
chart of the part I have selected and not the full date range of the project.
My attempts leave me with a long blank gantt chart with the portion I'm
trying to show on the end (I 'm selecting the project end) , the blank part
of the gantt is the date range of the activities I have filltered out. It's
this blank section I wish to get rid of for better presentation but also , so
I can print on a smaller page size.

Have you tried File, Print then selecting a date range? You can only do this
if you do select File, Print and not by clicking the printer icon.
