How to receive messages when Outlook starts

Can somebody please tell me how to set up Outlook 2003 so
that it automatically receives messages when it starts?

Hi Lance

With POP3 outlook can be setup to send and receive email
on a schedule, this can be done by;

1. Open Outlook, click Tools, and click on Options.
2. Click on the Mail Setup Tab, and click Send/Recieve.
3. Now click to select 'Schedule an automatic
send/receive every', and enter a value of your choice.

Hi Lance,
On your toolbar you need to go to tools and then
options. Check the box under subtitle "send and
receive" ..."send immidiatly when connected." that should
sort it out. For more settings on send and recieve, ie to
adjust how long before another automatic sedn and recieve
or to send andd recieve at exit click on the "send and
recieve" button.
