How to remove French (or other non-english) updates ?

Michael

When I run Office Updates I am reminded to install French grammar checking,
something I do not use. I remember that in previous office updates I was able
to customize the set of updates I would be offered but no longer see that
choice. How can I block unwanted updates. I use the Baseline Security
Analyzer and it reports these missing updates as security breaches. Thanks.

Hi Michael,

The French language proofing tools are a part of the
English languge MS Office XP and 2003 products.
The updates are to keep the products current and
to prevent possible security issues.

There is a potential security issue with the proofing tools,
the update will, for now, continue to be listed
as needed.
