How to repair a Microsoft Excel file?

I have tried to chose Open and Repair, but some of the data in cells are
lost. is it any possibilty to get all file back?

Some people have reported that OpenOffice Calc does a better job recovering
corrupted Excel files than Excel itself. If you don't have a backup, it's
worth a try before recreating the file. That is, if you have a high speed
internet connection to download OpenOffice and a lot of free disk space to
install it.
