How to save powerpoint templates to use again?

I wan't to download templates from microsoft and add them to my design
template area so they will appear in the design area. Let me know. Thanks

After you download them, and they open in PPT, just do a File|Save As. Make
sure "presentation template *.pot" is selected in the "save as type" box at
the bottom of the Save As dialog box, and PPT should send you to the correct
folder to save in.

Using the Save As, and selecting the file type '.pot', PPT sends you to the
most recent directory used, not the "C:\program files\Microsoft
....\Presentation Designs' folder. Any suggestions?
