How to set the default mail client

Hi,
I am trying to set Outlook as my default mail handler rather than Outlook
Express. I need to do this so that I can use my scanner to scan a picture
and then automatically kick off my email program. At the mo it wants to use
Outlook Express which is not set up at all, and I don't want it to be! I
have gone into 'Set program access and defaults' (w2k) but Outlook is not
listed, only OE. Can anyone help?

Hi ,

Pls chk this out ...
In ur outlook go to Tools ---> options --------> others ---> Check " Make
outlook the default prg for email , contacts and calender ".

I hope it should work .
