how to set up a spread sheet on my computeer

i have windows xp i need to do a spread sheet how do i start or what special
software do i need i want it to total my assets and my expenses for each
month and then yearly

Hi Lewis,

If you do not have EXCEL on your machine look at Microsoft WORKS
spreadsheet. It is similar to EXCEL but does not have all the "bells and
whistles". I do know someone that uses this and it seems to be adequate for
financials.
