How to Set up Email in MS Project 2000

Ross

I have MS Project 2000. I'm setting up a new project. I have email
addresses for all team resources. I've never tried working with the email
setup within MS Project before.

What I would like to do is set up automatic emails to be sent to an assigned
resource a defined period of time before scheduled task completion.
Something like "You task (task description here) is scheduled to complete in
10 working days". The idea is to reduce missed deadlines by adding this new
commutationon method.

Is this possible in MS Project 2000? If so, what are the steps? Thanks

If you use MS Outlook, you can write code in an MS Project macro that
creates or accesses an Outlook session, then create an emal object and
populate its properties with any MS Project data.
See Sue Mosher's OutlookkCode Web site for examples of MSProject-Outlook
code examples. Write me if you need help.

I don't know. If you can set a reference to Mozilla in the VBA Editor, you
might be able to get access to all of its objects, properties and methods.
Good luck,
Rick
