How to stop the bottom of flyer from being cut off when I print

I have tried everything imaginable, but no matter what I do the bottom of my
page gets cut off (at least an inch of it). I've tried fixing the footer,
the margins, etc. The only way I can get it to print on plain paper without
cutting off the bottom is setting the paper to Photo Paper. The problem with
that is I'm really using Plain paper and the color of the ink is not as true
as it should be. What do I need to do to fix this. This flyer can only have
a margin of approximately 1/4 inch at the bottom. HELP!!!!

That's a lot! Most printers have "unprintable margins", and the size of
those margins varies at different printer settings, but I've never come
across a printer where the bottom margin is a whole inch. About half an inch
is the most I've ever seen. Are you sure that you are setting the printer to
the correct paper size (A4, US Letter or whatever)? The paper size in the
print dialogue needs to be the same as the actual size of the paper you are
using. By the way, what make and model of printer are you using?

When you've checked that, also check the various options in the various tabs
that the printer dialogue shows. Many printers these days are capable of
printing right up to the edges of the page (or in some cases almost to the
edges of the page). This is called by different names on different printer
drivers, but look for things like "full bleed" or "minimize margins" or
something like that.

By the way, do you have Microsoft Word installed? If you do then set your
printer (in Control Panel) to be the default system printer (if it is not
already so) and then use the Microsoft Word File / Page Setup menu and set
the top, bottom, left and right margins all to 0 (zero). Then click the
"Okay" button. You will almost certainly then be presented with a Microsoft
Word dialogue telling you that one or more margins are outside the printable
area of the page and asking you what you wish to do. Click the "Fix" button.
Then have a look at the margins that Microsoft Word uses. That will tell you
the current "unprintable margins" of your printer (at its current settings).

I would suspect you need to
update your printer driver.
