How to udate the Project information in consolidated projects

Hi,
I use Project Standard 2002. I have consolidated 5 projects in one and use
it to have a quick overview of all my tasks and to enter progress.
How can I update de Status date of each project after I have used the file
with the consolidated projects to enter the progress of the project.

Hi Albert,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Well, a consolidated project (if you used Insert/Project to build it) is
dynamic. It is only a place holder and viewer of the inserted projects.
So, any changes you make from the consilidated views will automatically be
updated into the original projects if you have them open. (Project
obviously cannot update another if it's not available.)

Hi,

Double-click on the project summary task to get "Inserted Project
Information" then in the General Tab click Project Info

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the 'Project Info' button is only
available when the inserted projects are also openen as a project on their
own.
Is there a way (macro for instance) to automaticly open al the projects in
de consolidated file?

Hi,

It IS available when you "open" teh project in the master file by clicking
the little plus sign
