How to use variable design templates in one presentation

I want to change the design of consecutive slides in my presentation. How can
I do that?

When you wish to use a new design, instead of clicking on the design in the
taskbar, hover over it first and a blue bar will appear on the right of the
design, click on this and choose to apply to selected slide. Hope this helps.
