How to view a .pub document with Word

I have Microsoft Office (Student and Teacher edition 2003) and I have a CD
with "".pub files. Is there any way to open them in anything other than
Microsoft Publisher?

not really.
you could have someone convert them to pdf's you'll be able to look at them..not much else.
