HTML code disappears from page after upload: help!

I created my website and tested it in my broswer on my hard drive.
When I uploaded the website files to my server, a few lines of IMG
code have mysteriously and randomly disappeared from the page when I
view on on the live server.

It is weird, because it doesn't happen to all the photos on the page.
I triple-checked the code and it is perfect. (It is a simple page.
Only basic HTML.)

Any idea why this is happening?

Am having the same problem. Also text on another page
disappearing. When I go into the site live, everything
shows up in the code for these pages, but the browsers (IE
and Netscape) are not picking up the missing code when
looking at View Source. Any solutions yet?
